Luxury hotel with 121 rooms. General contractor, including technical and service installations, water treatment plants, and general facilities. Total construction area: 11,263 m². The project was developed on the former residence of Nicolás de Ovando, Governor of Hispaniola, present-day Dominican Republic, from 1502 to 1509. The house was built between 1502 and 1503 and is considered the first stone house built in the Americas. Together with Casa de los Dávila, the Chapel of the Remedies, and three adjoining houses commissioned by Ovando, the original colonial structure was carefully studied and faithfully restored.
